The band which consists of Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honored, Nick Mara, Austin Porter, and Zion Kuwonu was founded by Simon Cowell in 2016.

Members of PrettyMuch band were separated until 2016 when they met Simon Cowell and Sonny Takhar who merged them into the band.

The band members have been living together in Los Angeles since March 2016 and they recorded their EP in 2017.
